Pictogram Medication Dosing Instructions for Common Medications in the Pediatric ED

Developed hard copy pictograms to be used in patient care for common pain medications, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and oxycodone.

Used in Emergency Department, pain clinic, and surgery.
2012-2023
EPIC Emergency Department standardized health literate discharge instructions

Developed 80 standardized low literacy clear discharge instructions for common discharge diagnoses and upkept new phrases with initial roll-out of EPIC.

Developed and reformatted over 150 standardized low literacy clear discharge instructions for common discharge diagnoses

Tied to ICD10 code for easy retrieval
